A family group

Since 1989, Maisons Lelievre welcome you on the Var coast with always the same passion: To discover our region to visitors "from here and elsewhere".

A family business

From the small restaurant of the « Pins Penches » born in Carqueiranne in 1989 -that had 12 seats- to today, this family business has always grown with the same passion of the hard work.

Everything begin in 1989 when Sandrine and Stéphane Lelièvre, 19 years old, left school to begin their professional life. When buying a small restaurant of 12 seats overseeing the sea in the port of Carqueiranne they thought about opening “ Les Pins Penchés”: at first, they begin both of them, Stéphane in the kitchen and Sandrine welcoming the clients.

Year by year, the small restaurant became the most famous restaurant in the region. In the meantime, other projects were seeing the light of the day like “Les Regates” in 1998 in the Marina of Toulon.

Les Maisons Lelièvre

Over time

In 2000, the couple had a crush on a property over the heights of Cap Brun in Toulon. This 18th century castle overlooking the sea and anchored in the heart of a park of several hectares, then completely ruined and wasteland, will be completely renovated. In 2001, Les Pins Penchés of Carqueiranne moved and settled there.

The restaurant of Carqueiranne becomes La Table du Port, the bistrot des Pins Penchés.

In 2010, in order to complete its offer, the family decided to take over an emblematic restaurant in the region, Le Robinson, located on the Almanarre beach in Hyères.

After hard works, it becomes the “Restaurant on the beach” group (restaurant, bar & private beach).

In 2014, another bistrot of Pins Penchés opens: Les P’tits Pins on the mythical Place de la Liberté in Toulon. This one proposes a true kitchen in town (inspired by his big brother Les Pins Penchés) with a good value quality/price.

Sharing values

The two children of the house, Adrian (24) and Marie-May (21) have joined the family group, having both studied in a prestigious hotel management school in Lausanne. With the transmission of know-how and experience, the family is now working in synergy on the opening of several upscale hotels in the region including the Grand Hotel des Sablettes- Plage which is born in June 2017 .
